This season’s unexpected benchwarmer Tony Romo might have thrown his last touchdown wearing a Cowboys’s jersey in Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. In other NFL news, four of the playoff teams have been selected and the other possible teams are going into the Wildcard week. Regular season out.


A HEAD ROLLS AT TIDE

Lane Kiffin finishing the season strong before taking over at FAU isn’t happening anymore. The Alabama offensive coach was fired just before the big game against the Clemson. Steve Sarkisian will fill in for the national championship.


BACK ON COURT

Roger Federer has been nursing a knee injury for the past six months. He still got it, though. Federer managed to win Australia’s Hopman Cup by beating Dan Evans 6-3 and 6-4.​ No big deal.
