  1. New data shows that as the recreational use of marijuana rises in Colorado, so do the state’s motor-vehicle casualities. This alarming trend has some lawmakers calling for tougher restrictions and penalties on buzzed driving. 
  2. Pro-marijuana advocates worry about such legislations as traces of marijuana can linger in the body for days, sometimes weeks, which means that post-accident testing for pot is about as conclusive as an episode of Lost.
